Electrical and Instrumentation
We’re actively seeking Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Electricians in all our geographic locations.
Our electrical team is responsible for constructing and maintaining various electrical control and power systems. Some of their main responsibilities include:
- New Facility Construction
- E-House Construction
- Modular Skid Construction
- Troubleshooting and 24/7 Maintenance Support
- Infrared Scanning
- Commissioning/Startup
- Heat Trace Installation
- Plant and Building Lighting
- Motor & Motor Control Installations
- VFD Installation and Maintenance
Meanwhile, our instrumentation team is looking to add new members to its group. Applicants should be knowledgeable in constructing and maintaining process control systems for industries such as oil and gas, water treatment, and agriculture.
You can also expect the following responsibilities as part of our instrumentation team:
- Wellsite and Facility Construction
- Commissioning and Shutdown Support
- Facility Turnarounds
- HMI, PLC and SCADA Upgrades & Migrations
- Fire and Gas Detection Calibrations
- Field and Shop Instrument Repairs
- Preventative Maintenance Calibrations for Processing Facilities, Compression, and Wellsite Equipment
- Instrument Tubing Installation for Modular Skids
- EFM Calibrations
Panel Shop
As a manufacturer of custom control panels, we’re also looking for people who are interested in working at our panel shop in the Claresholm, Alberta area. Our fabrication facility is a part of the ETL custom panel builder’s program. This means that the panels we produce are made following strict guidelines and procedures.
As a panel shop employee, you can expect to assist with wiring and managing the construction of:
- DCS Control Panels
- PLC Control Panels
- SCADA/RTU Panels
- Remote I/O Panels
- Lighting Panels
- Motor Starter Panels
- UPS and Power Distribution Panels
- Municipal Control Panels
- Relay Panels
- Termination Junction Boxes
- Communication Panels
- Solar Combiner Boxes
- Battery Boxes with Solar Controllers
- Custom Electrical Control Panels
Automation
We’re also looking for junior automation technicians or programmers who have oilfield or industrial experience. We would give preference to anyone with an electrical or instrumentation background. These individuals will be supported by our senior technicians and programmers giving them the opportunity to learn from high-level industry experts.
This is an exciting opportunity for young, junior technicians who are truly interested in learning industrial automation and programming.
