Crossroad Energy Solutions is excited to announce that starting in January, 2022, we are becoming “Partners for Life” with the Canadian Blood Services.

As with many organizations, members of our team have been touched by the necessity of life-saving blood to support our friends & family and wanted to give back to our community and the blood bank. It is even more prudent now as the COVID 19 pandemic has increased the need for donations!

Canadian Blood Services provides those in need with blood and other blood products such as plasma and platelets. Stem cell recipients often need additional blood products as part of their treatment to beat illnesses such as cancer. Crossroad has made a commitment to help fulfill this need.

To start our journey with Canadian Blood Services, Crossroad employees & contractors have pledged to donate 30L of blood in 2022. This runs from January to December. This isn’t a huge amount, but we wanted to make that we start off with a goal that we CAN HIT with confidence to get the ball rolling. 11 employees/contractors within the Crossroad umbrella have committed to donating their time and blood. If anyone else is interested in joining our cause, please reach out to us and we’ll show you how to get onboarded!

We will also be participating in a Group Donation on January 6^th, 2021 where a bunch of the Calgary team will head to the blood clinic and make our 1^st team donation to kick off the year!

We are encouraging our friends, family, customers, vendors, suppliers, and competitors to join us in this effort! To contribute to our goal, you must download the Canadian Blood Services app or go to blood.ca to create an account.

Unfortunately, this agreement doesn’t translate down to blood banks for our folks in the USA, but we are still encouraging all our employees/contractors, customers, vendors, suppliers, and competitors based in the USA to donate as much blood as you can and let us know about it!
